Volunteer Opportunities
Pennsylvania (not just for PA voters)
Poll Observers are the eyes and ears on the ground at polling places across the state on election day. They assist voters and ensure that every eligible voter can cast a ballot. We will train, assign, and support you to make sure that you are as effective as possible on Election Day. While being able to observe for the duration of election day is the goal, you can also sign up for a half day if necessary. Poll Observers must be physically present in PA for their shift, but do not necessarily have to be PA voters. If you have any questions, please contact us at voterprotection@padems.org.

- Poll Observers
Join us on Election Day to serve as Poll Observer. In this role, you will be the eyes and ears of the campaign, documenting issues, solving problems, and answering questions as they arise.

Come help ensure that voters who are voting early in person are able to properly vote!

- Canvass Observer
Canvass Observers will ensure that every vote is counted by monitoring the process of counting ballots (often called “canvassing ballots”).

- Volunteer Recruitment Phone Banks (Remote Opportunity)
We have virtual phone banks every Monday and Wednesday evening at 6 PM! Come join us in making calls to recruit volunteers to protect the vote.
